Description
Ingredients:
- Active Ingredient: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1% w/v
- Other Ingredients: Benzalkonium Chloride Solution, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Disodium Edetate, Sodium Hydrogen Phosphate Dodecahydrate, Sorbitol Solution 70% (non-crystallising), Purified Water
Directions for Use: Adults and children over 12 years:
- One spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily as needed.
- Do not use more than 3 applications in each nostril per day.
- Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
Warnings:
- Do not use if you are allergic to Xylometazoline or any other ingredients in this product.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
- Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using this product.
- Do not use if you have recently had nasal surgery or have a history of chronic nasal problems.
- Prolonged use may lead to rebound congestion, which can cause chronic nasal obstruction.
Side Effects: Like all medications, Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. Possible side effects include:
- Temporary irritation, burning, or dryness in the nose
- Sneezing
- Headache
- Nausea
If you experience severe side effects such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, stop using the spray and seek medical attention immediately.
Interactions:
- Do not use this spray if you are taking, or have taken in the last two weeks, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression.
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking any other medication, especially those for high blood pressure, heart disease, or depression.
Storage:
- Store below 25°C.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
