Active Ingredients:

 

  • Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg

 

Inactive Ingredients:

 

  • Lactose Monohydrate
  • Microcrystalline Cellulose
  • Maize Starch
  • Stearic Acid
  • Magnesium Stearate

 

Uses:

 

  • Relief of allergic conditions such as hay fever, urticaria, and allergic rhinitis
  • Prevention and control of nausea and vomiting, including that associated with travel (motion sickness)
  • Short-term treatment of insomnia in adults
  • Sedation for both adults and children

 

Dosage:

 

  • Adults: 10mg to 25mg two or three times daily
  • Children: Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional

 

Always follow the prescribed dosage and consult with a healthcare provider for the correct dosage for children or elderly patients.

 

Warnings:

 

  • Not suitable for children under 2 years of age
  • Do not use if allergic to promethazine or any of the other ingredients
  • Consult with a doctor before using if you have a history of breathing problems, sleep apnoea, or a chronic condition such as asthma, COPD, or a severe heart condition
  • Promethazine may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you
  • Avoid alcohol as it can increase the sedative effects of promethazine
