Piriton Hayfever Relief 4mg Tablets – 500 Tablets

Piriton Hayfever Relief 4mg Tablets are a highly effective antihistamine used to alleviate symptoms of hay fever and other allergies. Each round, yellow tablet is engraved with a “P” and contains 4mg of the active ingredient, chlorphenamine maleate.

These tablets work rapidly, often providing relief within half an hour. They can be taken before exposure to allergens, helping to prevent uncomfortable symptoms from occurring.

Piriton Tablets are not only useful for treating hay fever, but they also provide relief from a variety of other allergies. These include skin allergies, food allergies, pet allergies, and allergies to dust mites and mould spores. They can also be used to alleviate the itchiness associated with insect bites or stings, prickly heat and heat rash, chickenpox rash, nettle rash, and hives.

In addition to treating allergies, Piriton Tablets can also help to reduce the redness, swelling, tenderness, and general irritation associated with many skin problems.

Adults should take one tablet every four to six hours, with a maximum of six tablets in 24 hours. For children aged 6-12, half a tablet every four to six hours is recommended, with a maximum of six halves in 24 hours. These tablets are not recommended for children under six years of age.

Remember, Piriton Tablets should be swallowed with a drink of water. If these tablets make you feel drowsy, avoid driving or operating machinery. Do not drink alcohol whilst taking this medicine.
