Nurofen plus is a dual action painkiller which contains Ibuprofen and Codeine. This can be used for the relief of pain and ache including migraines, headaches, cramping period pain, dental pain, back pain, neuralgia, rheumatic pain, muscular pain and cold & flu symptoms.
This medicine must be and should only be used for pain that is not relieved by other painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen alone. They should be taken for a maximum of 3 days. If symptoms persist, you must consult your Doctor.

Description
Ingredients:
- Active Ingredients: Ibuprofen (200mg) and Codeine Phosphate (12.8mg).
- Inactive Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Sodium Laurilsulfate, Povidone, Stearic Acid, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, and Sucrose.
How It Works: Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain. Codeine is an opioid analgesic that helps to alleviate severe pain that cannot be managed by ibuprofen alone. Together, they provide comprehensive pain relief.
Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1-2 tablets with water every 4-6 hours as required. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
Warnings:
- Dependency: Codeine can cause addiction if used continuously for more than 3 days. If you need to use this medication for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional.
