Night Nurse Capsules are formulated to provide effective relief from the symptoms of colds and flu, ensuring you get a good night’s sleep. These capsules are designed to alleviate coughs, shivers, aches, and pains, and to reduce fever, enabling you to wake up feeling rested and refreshed.

Description

 

Each capsule contains:

 

  • Paracetamol 500mg: An analgesic and antipyretic to relieve pain and reduce fever.
  • Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg: An antihistamine to reduce allergy symptoms and induce drowsiness.
  • Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 7.5mg: A cough suppressant to relieve dry or tickly coughs.

Directions for Use

 

  • Adults and children aged 16 and over: Take two capsules just before bedtime.
  • Children under 16: Not recommended.

 

Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take Night Nurse if you have already taken 4 doses of a paracetamol-containing product during the day.

Warnings

 

  • Do not take Night Nurse Capsules if you are allergic to paracetamol, promethazine hydrochloride, dextromethorphan hydrobromide, or any of the other ingredients listed.
  • Avoid alcohol while taking this medication.
  • Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised by a healthcare professional.
  • Consult your doctor before taking if you have liver or kidney problems, glaucoma, prostate problems, or if you are taking other medications.
  • Contains paracetamol: do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.

Side Effects

 

Common side effects may include:

 

  • Drowsiness or sedation
  • Dry mouth
  • Dizziness or light-headedness
  • Blurred vision

 

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Night Nurse and seek immediate medical help:

 

  • Allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or swelling
  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Unexplained bruising or bleeding

Interactions

 

Night Nurse Capsules can interact with other medications, including:

 

  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression
  • Other antihistamines or sedatives
  • Blood thinners (anticoagulants)
  • Medicines for high blood pressure
  • Other cough and cold medications

 

Always consult with your doctor or pharmacist before starting any new medication while taking Night Nurse.

Storage

 

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
