How to Use:

Adults aged 18 and over:

Take one tablet daily with water, preferably in the morning before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush it.

It may take 2-3 days for the full effect to be felt. Use for a maximum of 14 days unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

Warnings:

Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.

Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.

Seek medical advice if you have severe liver problems or any other serious underlying health conditions.

Do not use if you are taking other medications containing a PPI or H2 blocker.Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen after 14 days of use.

Side Effects:

Like all medications, Nexium Control can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

Common side effects include:

Headache

Abdominal pain

Diarrhoea

Constipation

Nausea or vomiting

Less common side effects can include:

Dizziness

Dry mouth

Skin rash

Serious side effects are rare.

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:

Severe allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of the face, throat, difficulty breathing, severe skin reactions)

Liver problems (e.g., yellowing of the skin or eyes)

Severe diarrhoea

Interactions:

Nexium Control can interact with other medications, potentially altering their effects. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following:

Antiretrovirals for HIV (e.g., atazanavir)

Blood thinners (e.g., warfarin)

Antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole)

Antidepressants (e.g., citalopram)

Methotrexate (used in cancer and autoimmune disease treatment)

Storage:

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Store in the original package to protect from moisture.

Do not store above 25°C.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
