Do not exceed four times a day, with a maximum daily dosage of 16 tablets. Excessive intake may cause bloating, but it’s usually harmless. If bloating persists, consult your doctor immediately.
When should Gaviscon tablets not be used?
Gaviscon Double Action Tablets should not be given to children under 12 unless advised by a doctor. Avoid using this product if you’re allergic to sodium alginate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, calcium carbonate, or any listed ingredients. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you:
