Co-codamol 8mg/500mg 32 tablets

Description

Ingredients: Each tablet contains:

• Active ingredients: Codeine Phosphate 8mg and Paracetamol 500mg
• Other ingredients: Croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, and sodium starch glycolate.

Dosage: Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• The usual dose is 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed for pain relief.
• Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24-hour period.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Warnings:

• Addiction Risk: Codeine can cause addiction if taken continuously for more than three days. Always follow the prescribed dose and duration.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding as it can affect the baby.
• Driving and Machinery: May cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how Co-Codamol affects you.
• Alcohol: Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it can increase the risk of side effects like liver damage and drowsiness.
• Allergic Reactions: Do not take if you are allergic to paracetamol, codeine, or any other ingredients in the tablet.

• Be cautious with other central nervous system depressants, as they can increase the sedative effect.
