Sudafed Decongestant Tablets are designed to relieve nasal congestion and sinus pressure caused by colds, flu, hay fever, and other upper respiratory allergies. By reducing swelling in the nasal passages, Sudafed helps you breathe more easily, providing fast and effective relief from congestion.

Description

 

Ingredients:

 

  • Active Ingredient: Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg
  • Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, Maize Starch, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hypromellose, Macrogol, Titanium Dioxide (E171)

 

Dosage and Administration:

 

  • Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take one tablet every 4-6 hours, up to four times a day. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Not suitable for children under 12 years.

 

Warnings:

 

  • Do not take more than the recommended dose.
  • Consult your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, glaucoma, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland.
  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid taking this product with other medications containing decongestants.
  • If symptoms persist for more than 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, consult a doctor.

 

Side Effects: While Sudafed Decongestant Tablets are generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience side effects, including:

 

  • Nervousness
  • Dizziness
  • Sleeplessness
  • Increased heart rate
  • Nausea
  • Headache

 

If you experience any severe side effects or signs of an allergic reaction, stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention.

 

Drug Interactions:

 

  • Avoid using Sudafed if you are currently taking or have recently taken (within the last two weeks) monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
  • Caution is advised when taking with other stimulants or medications for high blood pressure, as interactions may occur.
  • Inform your healthcare provider of all other medications you are taking, including prescription, over-the-counter drugs, and herbal supplements.

 

Storage:

 

  • Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
  • Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
