Description
The active ingredient in Dettol Antiseptic Liquid is Chloroxylenol (4.8% w/v), which has been widely used for many years as an ingredient of antiseptic/disinfectant products. It also contains Pine Oil, Isopropyl Alcohol, Caustic Soda Solution, Castor Oil, Caramel, and Water.
Dettol Antiseptic Liquid is light yellow in colour in the concentrated form but produces a milky emulsion of oil droplets when diluted with water, exhibiting the ouzo effect. It comes with a fresh, iconic pine fragrance.
Please note that it should not be used undiluted and is not recommended for use around cats. If swallowed or contact is made with the eyes, wash thoroughly with cold water and consult your doctor. Always keep out of reach and sight of children.
